ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to order to conduct the investigation in Crime No.34 of 2021 pending on the file of the second respondent to by conducted by the competent person to be appointed by the first respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the then Deputy Superintendent of Police, who was appointed as Investigating Officer, has been transferred and one Mr.Ramanathan, D.S.P., has assumed charge recently.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first respondent is directed to appoint an Investigating Officer complying with the Rule 7 of SC/ST (POA) Rules, 1995, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
