CRIME NO. 140 OF 2016 ... RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.8242 of 2016 dated 25.5.2016 for surrender before the J.M. thirupathur.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.RAMU, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.K.ANBARASAN, Government Advocate on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time granted to the petitioners in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8242 of 2016, dated 25.05.2016. 2.This Court, by order dated 25.05.2016 made in Crl.O.P.(MD). No. 8242 of 2016 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners and directed the petitioners to appear before the concerned Magistrate, within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy was made ready. However, the petitioners did not comply with conditions, within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, they have approached this Court with the present petition for extension of time.

3.There is no representation for the petitioners. It is averred in the petition that the petitioners could not produce the sureties within the time prescribed by this Court and hence, they pray for extension of time.
