PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18/01/2021 to issue joint patta by including petitioner's name and other legal heirs' name of the petitioner's father namely V.Pushpanathan in Patta No.65 in Survey No. 87/12 at Servaikaranmadam Village, Tuticorin Taluk, Tuticorin District measuring about 0-07.5 Ares.

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.01.2021 and to issue joint patta by including the name of the petitioner and other legal heirs with respect to the subject property.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has been considered and it has been enquired and the response will be made by the second respondent to the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks.

3. In view of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to convey the decision taken on the representation made by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
