The present petition is filed by the petitioners, seeking for a direction to quash the First Information Report in Crime No. 34 of 2018 of Palayanur Police Station, Sivagangai District. 2.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would contend that the Inspector of Police, Palayanur Police Station, after concluding the investigation in Crime No.34 of 2018, filed a final report before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Manamadurai, on 31.05.2018.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
