Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.P.KRISHNASAMY, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.S.DURAIPANDIAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This Court by order dated 26.07.2017 while granting anticipatory bail, directed the petitioner to appear before the concerned Court within a period of 10 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.

2. It is seen that the copy of the order was made ready on 28.07.2017 and the present petition for extension of time is filed on 09.08.2017. Hence, the petition is filed out of time.

3. In view of the same, it is made clear that from the date of filing of this petition, technically, the order passed in the Criminal Original Petition was not in force. Accordingly, this criminal Miscellaneous petition is dismissed with liberty to file fresh anticipatory bail petition.
