PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 06.10.2025 filed under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, and consequently direct the fourth respondent to provide patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of properties in S.No.73/14, situated at Valayapatti Village, Thiruparankundram Taluk, Madurai District, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition is filed directing the second respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 06.10.2025 filed under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, and consequently directing the fourth respondent to provide patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of properties in S.No.73/14, situated at Valayapatti Village, Thiruparankundram Taluk, Madurai District, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the fifth respondent, notice to the fifth respondent is hereby dispensed with.

4. According to the petitioner, he filed a revision petition dated 06.10.2025, challenging the orders passed by the third respondent dated 19.09.2025 in Ne.Mu.No.3970/2024/A4 and the fourth respondent dated 22.12.2022 in Na.Ka.No.4663/2020 and the said revision is pending.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner's revision petition will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

6. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's revision petition dated 06.10.2025, on merits and pass appropriate orders 3/6

in accordance with law within a period of fourteen (14) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state, the revision petition shall be considered and disposed of after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the second respondent herein, and all other interested persons.
