The present petition is filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.947 of 2013 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that since the petitioner is mentally challenged, all further proceedings were dropped by the Inspector of Police, K.Pudur Police Station.

3.Recording the submission, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
