ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner for the property comprised in Ayan Survey no. 247/14, to an extent of 1 acre 94 cents situated at Ambathurai Village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 23.01.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.By consent of both parties, considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. Perused the materials on record.

4.(i).The petitioner purchased the punja property comprised in Ayan Survey No. 247/14, to an extent of 1 acre 94 cents situated at Ambathurai Village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District, The previous owner got the property 2/5

through a partition deed in Doc.No.3048/2014 executed between his family members, dated 16.12.2014. However, the patta is not mutated in the name of petitioner so far. In this regard, he made an application through online on 07.12.2023 and made representation on 23.01.2024. The same were not considered. Hence, this writ petition came to be filed. 5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court hereby direct the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 07.12.2023 and representation of the petitioner, dated 23.01.2024 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
