ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of patta for the petition mentioned land. The petitioner is said to have purchased the property from one Eswari. The said Eswari had in turn purchased the property from Manikkam. The patta is in the name of Manikkam. When a property has been purchased, the purchaser is entitled to step into the shoes of the vendor. If the patta is in the name of the vendor, then following purchaser / the petitioner has been issued with patta. But these are the matters for enquiry. The petitioner has given application on 29.01.2024. 3.The third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, issue notice to all the interested persons if any and thereafter pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
