PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to call for the records and quash the FIR registered in Crime No.198 of 2021 dated 13.11.2021 on the file of the respondent police as against the petitioner in so far as these petitioners are concerned.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.198 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

2. On receipt of the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant herein the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.198 of 2021 under Section 145 of Cr.P.C and referred the matter was referred to the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer. On receipt of the same, the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer initiated proceedings and conducted enquiry. After completion of enquiry closed the same on 07.02.2022. Therefore no First Information Report is pending on the file of the respondent and final order has been passed by the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer under Section 145 of Cr.P.C, therefore the prayer sought for has become infructuous.

3. In view of the same, the petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer under Section 145 of Cr.P.C in the manner known to law. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
