This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to process the petitioner's application vide Application ID.No.E117005277 and include the petitioner's name in the electoral roll of Appanoor Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

2.Heard Mr.C.Venkateshkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.J.Padmavathi Devi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, earlier, his name was registered in the electoral roll of Harbour Constituency at Chennai. Subsequently, his name has been deleted from the Harbour Constituency. Hence, he filed an application before the second respondent to include his name in the electoral list in Appanoor Village. But, so far, no order has been passed. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending with the second respondent, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of.
