ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer of investigation in Crime No.1 of 2013 pending on the file of the second respondent and transfer the same to the fourth respondent herein.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the investigation completed and charge sheet has been laid and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.11 of 2014 by the TANPID Court, Madurai, for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and 120(b) of IPC https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and Section 5 of TANPID Act. He would further submit that the prosecution have been examined 120 witnesses and yet to be examined remaining 664 witnesses. The trial has been posted on 14.09.2018, for further evidence. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
