ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge IV, Madurai to complete the trial expeditiously in S.C.No.98 of 2018 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is one of the accused in this case and he was arrayed as second accused and the case is pertaining to the year 2013 and the case is pending in S.C.No.98 of 2018 without any progress and so far the trial has not been commenced. Therefore, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that Non Bailable Warrant is pending against one of the accused and they are also searching the accused for executing the NBW and 2/5

they will cooperate for the speedy trial and they also will produce the witnesses as directed by the Trial Court.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to complete the trial within a stipulated time, this Court even without issuing notice to the second respondent, inclined to dispose of the petition by directing the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge IV, Madurai to complete the case in S.C.No.98 of 2018 as early as possible without giving any long adjournment beyond 15 days.

5. With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
