The petitioner is the complainant in Cr.No.144 of 2019 and he seeks a direction to the respondent no.6 to entrust the Cr.No.144 of 2019 to some other investigation officer under the supervision of the fourth respondent.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the accused in this case has been arrested, final report has been filed and the trial is commenced and hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
