ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the first respondent / the District Revenue Officer to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 22.01.2014. 2.According to the petitioner, earlier, the second respondent passed an order dated 29.11.2013 cancelling the assignment granted in favour of the petitioner. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent as earliest on 22.01.2014, but so far, the appeal has not been disposed by the first respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

filed by the petitioner will be disposed of within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.In the above circumstances, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
