ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to transfer the investigation of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.09.2022 and connected CSR.No.250 of 2022 on the file of the third respondent to the second respondent or any other investigation officer not less than cadre of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Trichy District for free and fair investigation within a stipulated period as may fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint against her daughter and the same is pending in CSR.No.250 of 2022.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the third respondent is directed to conduct the enquiry by following the dictum laid down in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. 2/4

Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 and pass orders within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
