ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.198/14/m4 on the file of the Executive Magistrate cum Revenue Divisional Office, Periyakulam, Theni District, arising out of Section 107 Cr.P.C.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 07.09.2018, none appeared on behalf of the petitioners and as such the case is posted today (i.e., 10.09.2018) under the caption for dismissal. Today also none appears on behalf of the petitioners.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.198/14/m4 on the file of the Executive Magistrate cum Revenue Divisional Office, Periyakulam, Theni District, initiated under Section 107 Cr.P.C. have been closed by the first respondent on 07.09.2018.

4. The prayer sought for in the present petition has become infructuous. Therefore nothing survives in this present petition. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
