PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment in Survey No.346/22 and 346/19, Mookudi Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District made by the respondents 4 to 8 based on the proceedings in O.Mu. 479/2024/Aa5, dated 13.11.2024 on the file of the 3rd respondent in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.] By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment made by the respondents 4 to 8 in Survey Nos.346/22 and 346/19, Mookudi Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District based on the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 13.11.2024 in O.Mu.479/2024/Aa5, in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for admission, Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, submits that action has been initiated for removal of the encroachment by issuing show cause notice dated 21.01.2025 by the Revenue Inspector, Aranthangi to the encroachers. A copy of which has also been produced before this Court.

4.In view of the said submission, no further orders are required in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
