ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) of I.P.C., in Crime No.Not Known, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2.This Court on 24.02.2020, when the petition for anticipatory bail was taken up for consideration, directed the respondent police restraining from arresting the petitioners till 09.03.2020. CRL OP(MD). No.3223 of 2020 The husband of the de-facto complainant, who is the first petitioner herein, after getting an interim protection from this Court has attended the enquiry on 18.02.2020, promising the respondent police that he will come back on 21.02.2020 and participate in the further enquiry. But he has left the country on 22.02.2020. He had not cooperated with the investigation. 3.Since the first petitioner was not co-operating with the investigation, it is reported that the first petitioner has left the country and presently is not in India.
4.Taking note of the fact that neither the first petitioner/husband of the de-facto complainant nor his parents really is interested in reconciling the dispute, but trying to escape from clutches of law, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
