Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 19.12.2017 and consequently, direct the second respondent to disburse a sum of Rs.2,37,154/- towards the work rendered vide work order Ma.Po.4 Est.139/9-10 dated 29.01.2010.

ORDER

According to the petitioner, he is running a Nursery Garden, and awarded with a contract for developing Border Plant vicinity to the ECO Park under the control of the second respondent. As per the condition, he has completed the said work, but the respondents only paid part payment, and a sum of Rs.2,37,154/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Thirty Seven Thousand One Hundred and Fifty Four Only) is due from the respondent Corporation. Despite several representations were made, no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Earlier, when the matter is taken up for hearing on 01.02.2018, this Court directed the petitioner to approach the second respondent and submit all the relevant records. It is stated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the petitioner also approached the second respondent and submitted all the relevant documents.

3.In the above circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the application, and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
