PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to issue patta in the petitioner's name in land comprised in T.S.No. 93, measuring an extent of 900 square feet, situated at Sengulam at Sengulam Village, Kajapetai, New Ward 'W', New Block No.16, Trichy Joint Sub-District Nos.1 and 2, Trichy District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2025.

This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondents herein to issue patta in the petitioner's name in land comprised in T.S.No.93, measuring an extent of 900 square feet, situated at Sengulam at Sengulam Village, Kajapetai, New Ward 'W', New Block No.16, Trichy Joint Sub-District Nos.1 and 2, Trichy District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2025.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

According to the petitioner, he has submitted a representation dated 26.09.2025 to the respondents, requesting issuance of a Patta in his name in respect of the property in T.S.No.93, measuring an extent of 900 square feet, situated at Sengulam at Sengulam Village, Kajapetai, New Ward 'W', New Block No.16, Trichy Joint Sub-District Nos.1 and 2, Trichy District. Despite the petitioner's representation, the respondents have not conducted any enquiry or taken steps to issue the patta, causing undue delay and prejudice to the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be 3/6

considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The fourth respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision.
