Respondent in all Writ Petitions Common Prayer: These Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to receive the application dated 23.06.2017 of the petitioners herein and pass orders forthwith to grant 5+1 Share Auto Rickshaw Permit (Share Auto) to the petitioners herein. For Petitioners : Mr.P.Balan in all cases For Respondent : Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah Additional Government Pleader in all cases COMMON ORDER Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondent. 2.By consent of both the parties, the Writ Petitions themselves are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4.In all these Writ Petitions, the prayer is for directing the respondent to receive the applications submitted by them and pass orders for grant of share auto permit.

5.It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter. The respondent is directed to receive the petitioners application and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, one way or the other, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
