PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent herein to renew the petitioner's passport vide Application No.25-1065131777 for a period of 10 years upon the representation dated 03.01.2026 and to pass orders within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to renew the passport of the writ petitioner based upon his application dated 03.01.2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the 3rd respondent brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in C.C.No.183 of 2022, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned trial Court seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed by the concerned trial Court, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law. 2/4

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
