O R D E R
The petitioner challenges the proceedings dated 03.02.2021 of the second respondent on the ground that such proceedings are repugnant to the Right To Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act 30 of 2013).
2. Subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the Government of Tamil Nadu enacted the Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws (Revival of Operation, Amendment and Validation) Act, 2019. Such Act was challenged before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in W.P (Civil) No.1411 of 2020 in G.Mohan Rao Vs. The State of Tamil Nadu, the Hon'ble Supreme Court upheld the validity of the Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws (Revival of Operation, Amendment and Validation) Act, 2019. Consequently, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition inasmuch the basis of challenge no longer exists.
3. By recording the aforesaid, W.P(MD).No.4307 of 2021 is dismissed without any order as to costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P(MD).Nos.3489, 3490 and 3491 of 2021 are closed.
