ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to forbear the respondents from interfering with the affairs i.e., playing cards, without stakes of the petitioner's club i.e., Marutham Manamahil Mandram Mathur situated at No. 410A, Thottakkadu, Mathur, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2025.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the 2/4
respondents received the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2025 and the same is under enquiry and the respondents will complete the same within a period of one week.
3. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this writ petition and also considering the fact that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration by the third respondent, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.01.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 19.02.2025 Index :
