The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature Writ of Mandamus, seeking direction to the third respondent herein to grant permission and provide Police protection to the Temple Arulmigu SonaiahKovil at Kaajimar Street, and Glasskara Street, Town Hall Road, Madurai City on 01.03.2022 by considering my representation dated 18.02.2022.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner against the fourth respondent, petition enquiry is pending on the file of the third respondent.

3.In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to conduct detailed enquiry, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
