ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to initiate proper enquiry and consequently issue patta to the property in Survey No.136/4 Acres 4 Cents 72

and Survey No.159/1 Acres 0 Cents 74 of Sulamangalam South and North Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukottai District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2017. 2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner has filed an application before the District Revenue Officer on 01.08.2017 on the ground that during UDR scheme, the patta has been wrongly issued in the name of the third parties. Subsequently, the District Revenue Officer directed the concerned Tahsildar to conduct enquiry and file a report but so far no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the application of the petitioner is pending from 2017, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the interested parties, if any.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
