ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner, dated 11.05.2017 in proceedings No.A3/4229/2017. 2.According to the petitioner, he has filed an application, dated 11.05.2017 before the first respondent seeking birth certificate for his daughter Mahalakshmi. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 11.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
