ORDER
The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection for the temple festival of Arulmighu Arumuga Perumal, Sri Sappani Muthaiah Kovil at Kumapatti Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, in connection with Masi Mahasivarathiri, scheduled to be held from 04.03.2021 to 13.03.2021.
2.By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
3. Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that the representations submitted by both the petitioner and the third respondent were registered in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.4279 of 2021 CSR.Nos.17 of 2021, 18 of 2021 and 19 of 2021 respectively and is posted for enquiry.
4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2021, based on findings and on merits, after giving sufficient opportunities to the third respondent and the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order,.
5.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
