ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to dispose of the petitioner's Patta transfer Application vide No.2021/0103/34/284646 dated 18.11.2021 for the property situated at Survey No.195/5A1, in Kallurani Village, Tenkasi Taluk, Tenkasi District.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's patta application seeking transfer of patta dated 18.11.2021 had already been disposed of by the third respondent herein vide proceedings in T.R.No.2021/0103/34/284646TR dated 27.11.2021. Therefore, the relief sought in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is seeking issuance of a separate patta in his name.
4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that, so far, the petitioner has not submitted any application seeking separate patta before the third respondent. It is further submitted that if the petitioner submits an application before the third respondent, the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would file a fresh application along with all necessary documents before the third respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the event of filing such a fresh application along with the necessary documents within the aforesaid time limit, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the third respondent on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to all necessary parties concerned, within a period of fourteen (14) weeks thereafter.
