ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 would submit that no river sand quarrying/mining operations are permitted in the subject place.
2. Therefore, in the event of any theft/illegal river sand quarrying/mining, the petitioner is at liberty to file a complaint before the jurisdictional police and the revenue authorities who in turn has to initiate prosecution against the offenders.
3. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
