ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for TANGEDCO.

2. The petitioner is enjoying the petition mentioned service connection. It appears that energy theft was committed. The learned standing counsel would also state that the compounding fee was paid. The consumption charges have been quantified at Rs.24,289/-. Since it has not been paid, connection came to be disconnected.

3. The petitioner through her counsel states that the consumption charges to the tune of Rs.24,289/- to be paid within a period of 30 days from today.

4. Recording the said undertaking, I direct the respondents to restore the petition mentioned electricity supply. If within four weeks, the consumption charges as mentioned above are not paid, it is open to the respondents to disconnect the supply of electricity once again. 2/4

5. The Writ Petition is allowed on these terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
