PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to repair/re-laid the road in front of the petitioner's house and thereby allow the petitioner to use the road by taking his vehicles out from his house and on other means on the basis of representation sent by the petitioner dated 15.02.2021 within a stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court. This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to repair / relay the road in front of the house of the petitioner in order to enable the petitioner tohave free ingress and egress by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 15.12.2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The Writ Petition was filed in the year 2021 and hence, by now, there should be some development. If no repair or relay of the road has taken place till date and the petitioner is finding it difficult to have free ingress and egress from his property, it is left open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the second respondent and the second respondent shall act upon the same and ensure that the repair work is carried out and the petitioner is able to have free ingress and egress from 2/4

his house property. This process shall be completed by the second respondent within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
