PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the Contemnors / Respondents for Committing Contempt for the willful disobedience of the order in W.P.(MD) No.4862 of 2023 dated 05.11.2024.

ORDER

The present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court dated 05.11.2024 made in W.P(MD)No.4862 of 2023, wherein this Court has directed to issue a revised pension payment order.

2. In compliance of the direction of this Court, the respondents have issued a revised pension payment order and also paid the arrears of revised pension. However, the learned counsel for the writ petitioner complains that so far, arrears of leave salary and gratuity amount have not been released. Since there was no order was passed by this Court with regard to the above said heads, this Court is not in a position to pass any orders in the contempt petition. However, the petitioner is at liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings. 2/4
