ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to comply with the order passed in Cr.M.P.No.4786 of 2023 dated 18.08.2023 by the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai and direct the second respondent to register a FIR.

2. It is seen from the records that the learned Magistrate in Crl.M.P.No.4786 of 2023 has directed the second respondent herein to expedite the enquiry and complete the same within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and during enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent is directed to take action in accordance with law and in case of closure of the complaint, copy of the closure report has to be furnished to the petitioner.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 2/4

would submit that in pursuance of the said direction, the second respondent has filed the closure report on 09.11.2023.

4. It is not the case of the prosecution that they have served the copy of the closure report on the petitioner in pursuance of the said direction.

5. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to serve closure report on the petitioner immediately and the petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in the manner known to law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
