This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission to perform the program of 'Aadal Padal' on 01.02.2018 night at about 06.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., at Arulmigu Batrakaliamman Thirukovil is situated at Mavadikkal, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.Heard, Mr.S.Bharathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that ever year the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the programs such as 'Adal Padal Programme', likewise, on 01.02.2018, also they decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that, they have already given a representation to the respondent and no order has been passed till now. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Government Advocate has not raised any serious

objection.

5.Considering the above said submission, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 21.12.2017 and dispose of the same within a week. 6.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
