ORDER
By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner is working as Junior Assistant. He seeks promotion to the post of Assistant. The grievance of the petitioner is that without any justifiable reason, he has been passed over and therefore, he has given a representation dated 02.06.2017 to the respondent in this regard.
3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
