PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court to direct the 5th respondent police to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and his relative people's life and limb for performing the final rites of one Ramasamy, S/o.Palani today i.e., on 22.02.2022 at about 4.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m in Merlmanthai Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.02.2022. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the fifth respondent police to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and his relatives' life and limb for performing the final rites of one Ramasamy, S/o.Palani today i.e., on 22.02.2022 at about 4.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m in Merlmanthai Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.02.2022.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents stated that as requested by the petitioner in the complaint dated 21.02.2022, the fourth respondent provided adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members to perform the final rites of the deceased Ramasamy on 22.02.2022 from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm.

3.Recording the same submission, this criminal original petition is closed.
