ORDER

This original petition has been filed for quashing the impugned FIR in Crime No.404 of 2019 registered on the file of the Thoothukudi Central Police Station for the offence under Sections 406 and 420 IPC.

2.The second respondent is one K.Shanmugalakshmi, who is present in person before me. She is working as a Cashier in Siva Gold, Tuticorin. The Proprietor of Siva Gold having its Office at 86E, East Care Street, (Near Santhy Bakery), Tuticorin, is also present in person. He clearly states that the issue has been settled and the FIR need not be kept alive any longer. 3.Since the defacto complainant herself has stated that FIR can be quashed, I am of the view that there is no purpose in keeping it alive. Accordingly, the impugned FIR in Crime No.404 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent police is quashed and this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. CRL OP(MD). No.3540 of 2020 in favour of the non petitioning accused also. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
