ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition praying to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his complaint dated 09.10.2015.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has got a share of his property by means of partition and that the neighbours are threatening him. Therefore, he made a representation on 09.10.2015 asking for police protection of life and limb.

3. A perusal of the representation of the petitioner makes it very clear that he wants to enter the pathway by means of police protection, which this Court is not inclined to grant. Admittedly, there is a civil dispute and a suit is also pending in respect of the same, which is to be worked out in the civil forum. Though the petitioner is entitled to police protection of life and limb, this Court makes it very clear that it shall not give any permission for anyone to enter into the disputed property or interfere with the same.

The Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
