... Contemnor Prayer: Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the contemnor for his willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 08.06.2020 in W.P.(MD) No.6569 of 2020.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to issue Joint Patta in favour of the petitioner by rectifying the errors happened while updating the records (UDR) of lands of property comprising in the Survey No. 125/1C5A consisting of 4 cents of vacant land which was wrongly included in the 6th respondents land as well as the property of land comprising in the Survey No. 466/6 consisting of 293 sq.meter which was wrongly included in the lands of Government Natham Porompoke, situated at Kalloorani Village, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District within a time frame as may be stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the contemnor for his willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 08.06.2020 in W.P.(MD)No.6569 of 2020.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate produced the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Aruppukkottai, dated 06.03.2021, wherein the Tahsildar has conducted enquiry and furnished a report before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukkottai, recommending for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner.

Cont.P.(MD).No.322 of 2021 3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner had filed subsequent writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.11075 of 2021 and directions have been issued by this Court by order dated 06.07.2021. 4.In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
