The petitioner has sought for expeditious disposal of the appeal dated 05.05.2024 pending before the first respondent. 2.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Admittedly, the petitioner's appeal is pending with the first respondent from May 2024 and the same has not been decided finally. 4.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the appeal on merits and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from today.
