ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application pending in O.Mu.No 59156/2016/G5 dated 28.02.2017 for the wrong and unsubstantiated change of names in UDR and in patta. 2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in Survey No.113/10, measuring to an extent of 0.2.50 acres situtated at Senkulam Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District. During UDR proceedings, patta has been wrongly issued in the name of third parties. Hence, he filed an application before the respondent on 27.12.2016. The above application was taken on file for adjudication and the first respondent has also directed the concerned Tahsildar to file report. But, so far, no order has been filed. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. 3.

Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending from the year 2016, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.12.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as any of the rival claimants.
