: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachments made in Panchayat Road situated between Porusupatty to Thethampatti more fully in S.Nos.45/6B, 45/7B, 45/8B, 45/9 and 45/10A Porusupatti Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District and also take necessary action against the encroachers for their illegal acts of encroaching government land by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2020 and reminder representation dated 09.01.2021.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner has made a representation to the fourth respondent stating that the public road, which comes under the said authority, has been encroached. Seeking action on the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Taking into consideration of the pendency of the representation of the petitioner dated 18.05.2020, followed by a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.4693 of 2021 reminder dated 09.01.2021, we call upon the fourth respondent to pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law. If any encroachments are found, appropriate action will have to be taken to remove the same, in the manner known to law. The aforesaid exercise will have to be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
