PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the contemnors for deliberate and willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.M.P.(MD) No.19836 of 2018 in W.P.(MD) No.21896 of 2018, dated 25.10.2018. For Petitioners :

Since this contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the interim order passed in a writ petition and subsequently, the said writ petition itself has been disposed of and a separate contempt petition has also been filed in Cont.P.(MD) No.1163 of 2024 by the very same petitioners alleging willful disobedience of the directions issued by this Court in the writ petition, the question of keeping this contempt petition pending does not arise.

2. In view of the same, this contempt petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to pursue the contempt petition in Cont.P. (MD) No.1163 of 2024, pending on the file of this Court, in the manner known to them under law.
