Nos.3168 to 3171 of 2018 Prayer in W.P.(MD).No.3167 of 2018: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent namely, the Commissioner, Dindigul Municipality, to enter the service particulars of the petitioner in the Service Register and forward the same to the third respondent Corporation where the petitioner is transferred and now employed.
Prayer in W.P.(MD).Nos.3168 to 3171 of 2018: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent namely, the Commissioner, Dindigul Municipality, to enter the service particulars of the petitioner date of appointment as per the orders passed by this Court dated 17.04.2006 in W.P.No.37676 of 2004, age, salary, etc. in the Service Register and forward the same to the second respondent Corporation where the petitioners are transferred and now employed.

2.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petitions themselves are taken up for final disposal.
3.The petitioners in all these Writ Petitions were originally appointed as NMRS in Dindigul Municipality. After a chequered history of litigation, the services of the Writ Petitioners got regularised by order dated 12.08.2011. The Regional Director of Municipal Administration, Madurai, issued order dated 12.08.2011, appointing the petitioner in W.P.(MD).No.3167 of 2018 to the Oddanchatram Municipality. The Regional Director of Municipal Administration, Madurai, issued order dated 12.08.2011, appointing the petitioner in W.P.(MD).No.3168 of 2018 to the Anaiyur Municipality. The other petitioners were appointed by the Regional Director of Municipal Administration, Madurai, to the Thiruparankundram Municipality which has been merged with Madurai Corporation. The grievance of the petitioners is that the Dindigul Municipality has not forwarded their service register to their respective Municipalities.
4.This Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioners can be redressed by giving a direction to their
employers namely, the Commissioner of Oddanchatram Municipality and Madurai Corporation to open a new service register for the respective petitioners and incorporate all the relevant details. Such service registers shall be opened by the respective employers within a period of four weeks from today.
