PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to direct the 3rd respondent to enquire the chit fund account no. JLP4303/29 and settle the petitioner's chit fund account no. JLP4303/29 with 4th respondent under the purview of 1st respondent based on the representation dated 20.01.2022. The petitioner with a grievance that the fifth respondent/Jeyapriya Chit Funds Private Ltd, Kanyakumari has collected amount from the petitioner and has not disbursed the same has submitted a representation to the District Collector, Nagercoil and filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 & 3 to conduct an enquiry with regard to this issue. 2/5

2.Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents submits that by a communication in Na.Ka.No.C4/E1179901/2023, dated 06.09.2023, the District Collector, Nagercoil has intimated the petitioner that the petitioner has to work out her remedy only before the Economic Offence Wing, Cuddalore.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy before the Economic Offence Wing, Cuddalore. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
