PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), to direct the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioners and the third respondent.

This petition is filed by the petitioners to direct the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioners and the third respondent.

2.According to the petitioners, there is a civil dispute between the petitioners and the third respondent and thereby the third respondent lodged a false complaint. Based on the said complaint, the second respondent used to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. Therefore, the present petition is filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondent would submit that the respondent police received the complaint from the third respondent as against the petitioners and the Page No. 2 of 4

same was closed, after elaborate enquiry. During the enquiry, the respondent police has not harassed the petitioners. 4.In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. 14.02.2025 Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No Ns To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Pudukkottai, Pudukkottai District.
