PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to issue order of direction to Transfer the Investigation of the petitioner's complaint dated, on 20.12.2022 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent Police some other independent agency for fair and correct investigation.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent herein not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the complaint lodged by Thomas Jebakumar/3rd Respondent herein.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint on 17.01.2023 stating that the petitioner and the third respondent's daughter loved each other and the same was objected by the third respondent herein. Thereafter, the third respondent detained her daughter in his house illegally. 2/5

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Sic) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the pressure made upon the third respondent to convince her daughter to marry the petitioner. He further submitted that the third respondent's daughter stated that she never loved this petitioner.

4. In view of the said statement, the complaint given by the petitioner on 17.01.2023 was closed. So the question of harassment does not exists here and this Court does not find any merits in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 07.03.2023 NCC :
