This petition has been filed to direct the respondent/police to register FIR on the complaint dated 04.03.2018 given by the petitioner against the culprits within the stipulated time. 2.Today, when the case was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that after the enquiry, the petitioner has requested the respondent police not to proceed with the complaint and they will settle the dispute in the presence of the village elders. In the light of the aforesaid statement, the respondent police closed the petitioner's complaint. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If the petitioner is having any grievance, he is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
